We have an open PhD position focused on advancing the interior-point method for stochastic programming. This opportunity is ideal for students aiming to deepen their expertise in these areas. If you're interested, feel free to reach out for more information. The complete project description is available here.

About me

I am an assistant professor at the Centre Automatique et Systèmes within Mines Paris-PSL.

I obtained my PhD in Applied Mathematics from CERMICS at École des Ponts et Chaussées in October 2018. Following my PhD, I spent two years as an optimization engineer with Artelys, in the team developing the solver Artelys Knitro. After that experience, I joined as a postdoctoral fellow Argonne National Laboratory's Mathematics and Computer Science (MCS) division from 2020 to 2022, under the supervision of Mihai Anitescu.

My primary areas of research lie in mathematical optimization. I focus on optimizing large-scale systems using the interior-point method, with a strong emphasis on nonlinear and stochastic programming.
